My Love for Career Development
Hey Beloved,
As a career coach, I have a unique and essential role in helping individuals identify their career and business goals and navigate the path toward achieving them. My clients come to me with various backgrounds and experiences, each with challenges and opportunities.
One of the first steps in career coaching is self-reflection. This involves helping clients understand their values, strengths, weaknesses, and aspirations. Understanding themselves better allows them to explore career paths that align with their interests and goals.
Assessments can also be a helpful tool in career coaching. These can include personality assessments, skills assessments, and aptitude tests. These assessments can provide valuable insights into the client’s strengths and weaknesses and help them identify potential career paths they may have yet to consider.

Once my client better understands themselves and their potential career path, I help them prepare for interviews and other job search activities or starting their business. This can include helping them develop their resume and cover letter, conducting mock interviews, and providing guidance on presenting themselves professionally. It can also include coaching them through the foundations of starting their business.
Overall, career coaching is a rewarding and challenging profession that requires a deep understanding of human behavior, listening and communicating effectively, and a commitment to helping others achieve their goals. By providing guidance and support to my clients, I can help them navigate the complex world of work and achieve success and fulfillment in their careers.
Peace & Love,
Sherri S. Wick
