In Gratitude
Hey Beloved,
As a counselor, I am so grateful and humbled that God chose me for this profession. The opportunity to help people navigate the complexities of life is truly a blessing. I believe that my effectiveness as a counselor directly results from God’s influence in my life.
When I first decided to become a counselor, I knew it was a calling from God. I felt a deep sense of purpose and knew that this was the path I was meant to take. I spent years studying and preparing for this role, but even with my training and education, I knew God’s grace would ultimately make me effective.
God has given me a unique ability to connect with people and understand their struggles. I have learned to listen to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to guide me in my work. By relying on God’s wisdom and strength, I have counseled and supported countless individuals and families.
One of the most impactful ways God has worked through me as a counselor is by allowing me to see people as He sees them. I believe that every person is made in God’s image and has inherent value and worth. By approaching my clients with this perspective, I can help them see themselves in a new light and find hope in even the most challenging situations.

Another way God has impacted my work as a counselor is by giving me the courage to address complex topics with my clients. Sometimes, the most healing conversations are the ones that require us to confront painful emotions or experiences. With God’s help, I can create a safe space for my clients to share their deepest struggles and fears and work with them to find healing and restoration.
I am constantly amazed by how God has worked through me as a counselor. I have seen Him transform lives and heal the most broken situations. I know that I am just a vessel for God’s work and that all the credit belongs to Him.
Reflecting on my journey as a counselor, I am grateful for the opportunities God has given me to make a difference in people’s lives. I am humbled by the trust my clients have placed in me, and I am grateful for the privilege of being able to serve them in this way. I pray that God will continue to use me for His purposes and that I will always be open to His leadership in my work.
Peace & Love,
Sherri S. Wick
